About Melody Mom

Thank you for taking the time to want to get to know more about Melody Mom.

 

I'm Renae AKA Melody Mom and through Melody Mom, I am introducing young children to the pure joy and educational benefits of music while making it a fun and engaging experience!

 

So a little about me?  I suppose it is best to start at the beginning.  Since I can remember I always LOVED music and as a baby, I was told I would sing and dance around the house, even while in diapers. And it was that love of music and its powerful movement which put me on a LIFETIME PATH of entertaining others. 

 

After performing throughout grammar and high school, I continued my studies at Performing Arts Institutions throughout the world and then performing both Broadway and Off-Broadway.  

 

After years of traveling and performing, I decided it was my time to launch an entertainment company, 'Sings The Songs Entertainment.'  But then with the birth of my precious children, I found myself winding down and I began looking where else to apply my love of music.  I knew I wanted to incorporate my years of musical theater experience while doing what I love — helping children sing, learn, and laugh.   It was not long after that, "Melody Mom" was created and then the magic really started to happen...laughter, singing, and little faces lit up wherever I performed.   

 

Today, I consider myself a "FUN EDUCATOR", entertaining and educating hundreds and hundreds of children at birthday parties, classes, and events. I thank each and every parent, guardian, and educator of these amazing little ones for the chance to bring music into their lives.   And I especially thank these precious students for their love of music and their adorable wiggly giggly dance moves.
